# A daily or weekly digest of companies that visited

Last updated 2026-11-01 · by Venu Gopal Reddy Muvva, founder

You can receive a digest every day at 08:00 IST or every Monday. It lists the companies that visited your site and their intent scores. Choose whether to send it to email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams.

## Steps

- **Open the Digest settings.** Go to the Digest section in your dashboard to start configuring your summary.
- **Choose your frequency.** Select daily for a summary at 08:00 IST or weekly for a Monday delivery.
- **Pick the destination.** Tick the email, Slack or Teams destinations that should get it. Connect them first under Alerts & CRM.
- **Preview the content.** Use the preview page to see exactly what the email or message will look like.
- **Send a test.** Click send test to verify the digest arrives correctly before it runs automatically.

## How the digest works

The digest collects the companies that visited your sites and their intent scores. You choose daily at 08:00 IST or weekly on Mondays. It lists the top accounts for the period with their score and the pages they read, so your team starts the day with a short list of who is interested. It is built automatically from your data; you only pick the schedule and the destinations. It is a calm alternative to one alert per visit.

## Where it gets sent

The digest goes to any email, Slack or Microsoft Teams destination you have connected under Alerts & CRM: email recipients, a Slack incoming webhook URL or a Teams Workflows webhook URL. On the Digest page you tick which destinations get it. You can preview the exact email on the same page and send a test digest to check the connection before the schedule runs.

## Preview and testing

Before the digest runs on its schedule, you can see a preview. This shows the exact email or message structure. It includes the list of companies and their scores. You can also send a test digest immediately. This is useful for checking if the webhook is configured correctly. If the test does not arrive, check your webhook URL. The preview helps you understand what your team will see every day or week. It ensures the information is clear and easy to read. You can adjust the settings if the preview does not match your needs.

## Data accuracy note

The digest names companies from IP data. Today company names come from demo IP data, so for real traffic most visits show as unattributed and the digest may name few companies. Once a licensed IP-to-company dataset is connected, the digest names more companies automatically. Nothing changes in how you set it up or receive it.

## When VisitorCompanyFinder is not the right tool

VisitorCompanyFinder is not for teams that need person-level identification of anonymous visitors. We do not offer this by design. If you need to identify specific individuals, look at tools like RB2B or Vector. Those tools focus on US person-level data. VisitorCompanyFinder is for B2B teams that want company-level intent and privacy compliance. It is also not for teams that need WhatsApp alerts, which are not available yet.
